Hello everyone! My name is Aly and I’m playing Vergil Park. You can find his biography here and a few headcanons below the cut. I’m looking forward to writing with you all!

Headcanons:

Vergil is fluent in both English and Korean. He mostly speaks in English, but Vergil does enjoy pretending he doesn’t know English around people he dislikes or finds annoying- it makes it easier to avoid conversation.

His first novel, ironically enough, is a thriller/mystery in the same vein as A Simple Favor and Gone Girl. Many actually believed his disappearance was a publicity stunt for his next work.

He has a couple nervous ticks, such as picking at his cuticles and bouncing his legs.

Vergil has to wear reading glasses, which he doesn’t mind but he does get a little self conscious about it.

Elizabeth “Lizzie” Velnias

Intro

Lizzie never had an easy life.  Her mother was very particular about the way things were done, and if they weren’t to her liking then there was a steep price to pay.  Her father was passive, more a servant to his wife than anything of equal footing.  Her school life wasn’t much better.  She felt so alone - the kids were mean to her as rumors went around about her family.  Lizzie had no friends.  

That is, until she met Slenderman.  He was the first being to show her any kindness, affection.  One day things got really bad with Mother, leaving Lizzie alone near the edge of the woods, crying, with a burn mark scorched into her hand.  Enough was enough.  In the middle of the night she took a candle and lit one of the heavy living room curtains.  She returned to the woods and wept, not knowing what to do.  She no longer had a place to live.  

The nine year old sat by herself in a clearing underneath the moon light.  At that moment he came to her, promising a new home.  A better home.  Taking his hand Lizzie followed Slenderman into the darkness, never to be seen again.

Unknown to the outside world, she has been residing in Shadowridge for the last threehundred and fifteen years, though to her it only seemed like twenty one years. He was right, her new home was better.  No one bothered her here.  Lizzie was free to be herself.

Captain Frederick Boyd

( chris hemsworth, 34, bisexual ) is that FREDERICK BOYD? apparently, they disappeared in MARCH of 2016. HE lived in ALEXANDRIA, VA before they went missing and were last seen near HUNTLEY MEADOWS PARK. at the moment, the police have no leads and the case has gone cold. when they arrived to shadowridge, the residents described them as CONSCIENTIOUS, but also STUBBORN. They ARE NOT a member of the cult.

He is a Roman Catholic.

Joined the Army at 17. The Army Rangers at 22. Specialized in Counter-Intelligence until the age of 28. At which point he had earned his law degree and passed the bar exam. He switched from counter-intelligence to law. 

He is an amputee. He lost his lower right leg at 26 in Iraq. 

He was married with two young children prior to being taken.

He first spotted slender man while on deployment in Iraq in 2012. 

At first, he thought it was a Russian PsyOp. Part of him still thinks it’s part of a psyop, about 70% sure, the other 30% thinks it might be an alien.

The switch from Army Rangers to JAG Corp’s was a last resort effort-- he hoped it wouldn’t follow him to DC or at least it couldn’t follow him to a highly secured military base. Unfortunately, it didn’t pan out.

He’s tried to get out of town but uh... after two months, he’s starting to realize that might not be possible.

Given the vegetation surrounding the town, he has decidedly ruled out China being behind all of this. His money is still on Russia. Or Aliens. Or both.

Finding a job’s been difficult since all of the available positions he’s qualified for seem to only hire the loony bins. He’s been considering going into journalism or become a P.I. just to annoy the shit out of everyone if he can’t find something in law or law enforcement.

Moira was taken at the age of 12 from the Dutch colony New Amsterdam (now known as Manhattan, New York).

Her maiden name is van der Hallen.

First marriage and child were at the age of 16. 

Her “children” and husbands tend to disappear or die under mysterious circumstances.

She has 5 dogs. One named after each of her dead kids.

Her first husband barred her from working. Her second husband was an innkeeper-- which she took up for a spell after his death. Her latest husband was an undertaker, she has been continuing his work.

For the most part, she’s sweet and extremely odd, but certain things can trigger very bad reactions.

She is very loyal to the church.

Biological Children (0/2) - They would be between 18 - 20 years old. They were raised in the cult. One of them should be at least be just as batshit insane as Moira.

An Obsession - It’s like that Lady Gaga song. Exactly like that Lady Gaga song. Well, maybe more like Stephen King’s Misery. Life will just be infinitely better if you just accept her love and affection and marry her. Well, it’ll be better until she thinks it’s time for you to serve the Lord in less lively ways.

A Mentor / Foster Parent - A cult member who took her in when she first arrived. 

A Rival - Perhaps they’re competing to see who burns through the most husbands or children without raising any suspicions. Maybe they’re competing to see who makes the best cannibal pie. Or hell, maybe they’re competing against each other in a dog show.
