It’s a little odd too animate something you only saw in a dream… tbh I rarely remember my dreams as it is but this stuck out to me.

We were talking about Neptune’s boss fight and why it wasn’t underwater. I mentioned it was probably because he’s more likely to be snoozing and would probably look like a corpse.

It's always such a long wait to get to this guy but other than Mercury, Neptune's definitely one of my favourites. There's always something fun about seafolk designs, ya know?

MMV Week Day 9 - Neptune vs. Roll

Thanks to @dahlia-the-nurd for helping with Roll's Spark Chaser design. (Not that I ended up drawing it at an angle you could really see it in the final anyway, unused variant under the cut)

While it showcased the characters better the background was horrendous and the composition was... blah at best.

A few of the... haircanons I have, along with some notes of why I picked the styles I did.

Transcript under the cut since my writing can get a little hard to read at times.

Elec - Elec 'styles' his hair with static electricity. You cannot tame it nor convince him to stop.

Quick - Probably stood in a wind tunnel.

Flash - Flash's head is covered in a sort of circuit pattern so he can illuminate. He's self conscious about this.

Gemini - I don't really know how this style works. Gemini moment.

Neptune - Neptune has closer to tentacles than hair.

Sunstar - Likes it gaudy. Sunstar adds another bead for every poor soul he makes a part of space dust.

Snake - Corn rows look like little snakes/snake scales. That's it. That's the entire reason.

Centaur - IS A HORSE. Has long horse hair. (And big horse teeth)

Plant - A 'bush' is a plant. Plant has bushy hair.
