I just followed this guide while installing a Crucial M4 128GB SSD into my Lenovo B570 laptop. Worked like a charm and the system is sickeningly fast. Get from the BIOS to the Windows 7 login screen in < 6 seconds.
The only thing I did that wasn't in the guide was install RAM disk software for doing software development. The RAM disk software I'm using can be found here, it's free and has options to load the RAM disk from the SSD at startup and write it back at Windows shutdown.
