Creation hides from me, covered in a blanket of mist,
the creator waiting to reveal His masterpiece.
I gaze towards hazy mountain silhouettes, these great monuments of time
knowing that what is hidden, yet to be revealed is beautiful, good and true.
For the mountains are merely an extension of the ground I stand upon now,
and the road already traveled.
It's all the same, the same substance, crafted by the same craftsman,
whose feet have marked it a million times.
If there is beauty past, then there is beauty now and beauty ahead.
If there is goodness past, then there is goodness now and goodness ahead.
If there is truth past then there is truth now and truth ahead.
And I will add my mark to the millions before me, and the maker's beside me.
