The 2020 American Hero Dog awards are running now - there is one vote per day:

The St Landry Animal Control in Louisiana, which Fiona and her brother have been supporting have put Lady Cassidy up for the competition - finalists will be featured on the Hallmark Channel.

Lady Cassidy has the power to find our happy, and yours! In a hectic world she reminds us to slow down and find our happy. I often wonder who rescued who. Her handicap is visible, but she will find yours. People always ask me, “how does she know?” I needed that, that soft nudge, that smile, that moment. Lady Cassidy, my healing heart! Her soft eyes and passion filled smile will find that ‘hidden hope’ in us all.

Notre Dame - Elle vit, elle résiste

Notre Dame has experienced a terrible fire. But as this print says, she lives. She stands. She resists. This print is a tribute to the gorgeous cathedral that we all love. 50% of the proceeds of this limited run print will go to the repair efforts for three churches in St. Landry, recently damaged

Elle vit, elle résiste.

Notre Dame still stands, though she's damaged. She's gotten a lot of love over the past few days, and rightly so! But there are other fire-damaged churches that haven't gotten as much attention, like the ones in the St. Landry parish in Louisiana.

For every print sold, I'll donate $4.50 (50% of the proceed) to the repair effort to the St. Landry churches.

(FYI, I considered donating to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, also damaged by fire the same day as Notre Dame, but I cannot for the life of me find info on donating to the repair effort! Honestly, regardless of your religion or denomination, we can all agree that no one deserves to have their church burned.)
