: valor and siri interaction i rmemeber writing like around last week I ONKY RMEBER/FINISHED IT TODAY i might make another post abt what valor did do to siri
“Panthera! Sirius! Come to the front this instant.” rumbled from the Combat & Defense professor, with a hand, urging the two to come to the front of the class. Whispers erupted from the students as they recognised the two contenders for the spar, both renowned for their exceptional skills in combat and honed magic performance. The two cut through the crowds like knife to butter, striding with confidence.
“Ah! Perfect, here, our two skilled pupils will demonstrate a spar, just so you minnows could get the picture on how to act in battle.” The professor announces before stepping to the side.
A grin tugged on Valor's mouth.
Amidst the chatter, Valor decides to poke the rose. "Ah, greetings." He twitches his brow with a teasing undertone. Siri lets out a huff as he's peeved by the unexpected encounter, out of all the witches and anima— he ends up going against him?, the conniving sword-wielding maniac.
The two stand in front of each other, each summoning their weapon, prepping for the fight. "Don't try anything, Valor." Siri blurts as he clenches his lance, staring daggers into Valor’s eyes. "Oh, whatever gave you the thought that I would do anything? For shame." Valor retorts with mock pity, masking his pride with a melancholic expression before snapping back into his stance.
A poised and elegant figure emerges, standing straight with his blade in hand. He toys with the blade as if it's a ribbon, rapid and precise swings cutting through the noise.
“Pray tell.. have you replenished yourself from your injuries, Siri?” sarcastic words entangled with smooth silk slips through Valor's mouth, an attempt to agitate the other perhaps? Siri fiercely growls at the condescending remark.
“Now, I would like to remind you all that this is a spar!— HUAAAAA!!” The professor turns and stumbles as Siri dashes into Valor with his forceful and quick movements. Valor, fully expecting this promptly parries the sudden charge, unphased by the strength the other anima emits.
There they were, close proximity with just their weapons seperating them, staring eye to eye as their weapons lock. Tension swirls through the air, “Ah, I shall take that as a yes, though.. I do think you'll be paying another visit to the infirmary.” A strong push of Valor's blade causes Siri to stumble, but quickly regains his guard. “Rah! You're all bark and no bite.” Spinning his lance before swiftly swinging it at such speeds while imbued with his flames.
Valor noticed at the corner of his eye the rapid flame approaching his direction, in response he turned to the side to dodge. Knowing Valor, despite the rather intense situation, he still took the time to show off vanity for his appearance, with half-lidded eyes he tilted his head at just the right angle to have the sun coincidentally trace his features, a gorgeous glow cascading his visage. Siri groans at the sight “Ugh… is this guy serious..?”. The lance grazed the top of Valor's cheek, leaving a clean cut— luckily, it was just a cut. Valor softly touches the cut, a small smear of blood on the finger, “Oh, such precision indeed.” inspecting the sight, he rubs his fingers together before slowly licking the blood off in a sort of alluring way as he turns his attention to Siri, a sly smile plastered across his face. “Hehe.”
Siri stares in bewilderment, eyes wide and mouth slightly agape as he processes the unexpected and beguiling scene before him “Sadistic anima.” the corner of his mouth tugged into a grin.
“Hah, alright then, let's play.”
He growls, but one with eagerness and determination.
The arena was filled with the clatter of the two's weapons, each swing creating another tune before the next. When it seemed like the other was about to fall, a twist would emerge with the help of their magic which made it seemed like the battle was endless. Students watched in awe at the fiery performance the two exhibited, a few almost getting pulled into the crossfire.
“Cornered. Oh, whatever happened to the imperious talk now, hm? You've been bested, cat.” Siri points his lance straight at the cornered Valor “How treacherous! How daunting you truly are… Stand your ground.”. Both go into a defensive position, preparing for the other to strike, particularly Siri is the one preparing. A swing of the sword or a jab was what he was expecting, he wasn't expecting Valor to just—do a front flip, huh?.. an unnecessary and ostentatious way to dodge but alright.
Siri looks perplexed “What the..? Anyways—moving on.” He shook off the initial confusion and was about to lunge straight into the other anima before he felt himself suddenly trip, losing his balance and stumbling, which was odd because Siri is usually very agile.. An audible “oomf” was heard as Siri tried to remain balanced. A snicker slipped through Valor's mouth.. Could he be the reason?
Siri tried again but kept stumbling, and again.. and again.. and again! It's as if he couldn't coordinate his body's movements and thoughts, involuntary movements preventing him from landing an attack. He turned to Valor, noticing the snicker “What did you do??” Siri spoke with a frustrated tone, his scowl becoming more profound.
“Me? I did no such thing.” Valor spoke ingenuously. He slowly approached Siri, hands behind his back before stopping in front of him. Siri wanted to move away yet couldn't, all because of these uncontrollable mishap of movements he can't seem to control, causing himself to be forced into place.
“Boop.” devious intent fills Valor as he gives Siri a push. “Ack‐ Oomf!” A thud was heard as Siri lay flat on the ground, he looked at Valor with resentment.
“Huzzah! Finally a winner, what an exhilarating battle indeed.” chips the professor. “Urgh- ah! You did something didn't you!? You cunning feline!” Siri slowly sits up, still recovering from whatever happened to him. Valor ignores the agitated remark from the other anima before ironically extending a hand out to help the fallen Siri. Siri's hesitant yet takes it anyway, his legs wobble, stumbling back and forth.
Siri had an intuition that Valor indeed do something to him, he just can't seem to pinpoint what it could be. Without hesitation, he immediately pulls Valor in by his top's collar.
“You cunning bustard. What did you do? You cheated didn't you?” flames ignited in his eyes as he scrutinized Valor.
“Oh? Such accusations, yet no proof. Why would I be the culprit of your missteps?” Valor purred.
Siri huffed before letting go, crossing his arms as he shakes his head “Whatever.” Valor seemed satisfied with the reaction.
What could've possibly happened?
