Our first #pediatriccancerresearch grant here in Canada! This is what we have been working toward for the past 2 years and it has become a reality! Children who receive doxorubicin as part of their treatment have to be closely monitored for 20 years due to the effects it has on the heart. This treatment goal is to release the chemo at the site of the Tumour Only, saving the cardiotoxic side effects ❤️.
