In 1954, someone assumed a hole in the dirt required an entire glass roof, hung by chains, to look suitably 'managed' for a photograph. All digging tools were carefully removed, lest reality intrude on the pristine vision. The dedication to a meticulously curated image, however, was quietly, and effectively, mocked by a single weed.
