Since I’m finally seeing Theatre Kid Will x Backstage/Tech Mike making an appearance (my personal favorite variant) i thought I’d throw in my two cents !

— Will always gets really dehydrated/lightheaded during/after performances so mike is always bringing him water

—Mike gets extremely locked in on whatever job he’s doing. Like basically hyperfixated. For example if he’s helping to build a set, he’ll talk to Will aboit logistics and angles and colors for hours

—Almost every time audition sign ups go up, Mike has to convince Will into signing up (Will is not confident in his abilities)

—Max always shows up to rehearsals. She’s not in theatre. No one asked her to be there. No one can get her to leave.

—confession comes after Will’s first performance—mike ran out on stage after curtain closing and full body hugged/tackled will.

—Will (somehow?) knows a ton of personal details about the drama teacher’s life

stagewheeler headcanon where will is in a musical and there's a bit of time where everyone freezes for a solo and will's character happens to freeze right at the edge of the stage for it, and literally every night, mike wheeler (who works the lighting) runs down to give him a lil kiss during the pause, and will is always bright red for the rest of the dance
