Thank The Gods || Closed
The raid had gone well. Thank the gods.Their losses had been small, if even there at all and the treasure they had found had been plentiful. It shouldn’t have made the young priestess as tired as she was, certainly everyone else was rejoicing, but Leiva had withdrawn to a quiet corner of the room to nurse an aching head and tired eyes. She had barely had any sleep, between the sacrifices before the raids, calling upon the gods during the raids, and then thanking the gods after the raids there wasn’t a lot of room left for rest. But she was sure that the gods would fix that soon enough. . The festivities were growing louder and rougher as the other raiders argued over who had captured the most slaves or crushed the most skulls. Soon enough the air smelt of blood, and for now, Leiva had had enough of blood. Taking up her staff she made her way outside, unnoticed by most, she hoped. The air was much fresher outside, and more silent. The priestess could actually hear herself think for a few moments. With a soft sigh she located a soft looking patch of grass and sat down before pulling out her small bag of bones. One of the many things Leiva enjoyed was rubbing the bones between her fingers as she thought, she found it calming. . She was interrupted from her moment of peace by another presence at her back and a hand on her shoulder, and she was just about to turn and scold them for disturbing her but when she saw whom it was she changed her mind. Instead she relaxed under the hand and smiled tiredly up at the young man. . “Isak…” { isaaciisms }
