We need feminism in India because so many little girls grew up hearing " What will your future mother in-law say about this ". No girl deserves to hear that. We don't deserve to grow up fearing the judgement of someone we don't even know. Girls should be allowed on marry whoever they want. Parents here don't believe in love but expect us to marry a complete stranger. How good or bad we're isn't decided on the basis of our kindness and talents but how obedient we're. So many women stay in abusive marriages because they can't support themselves or their children. Domestic violence is accepted as a part of marriage.
