what are some of your least favourite takes and characters? with explanations please :)
I do NOT like Luke, he can suck my balls. I could write a whole essay on how complex he is because he is both the victim and the perpetrator. But I won't, simply because it's four am over here. I'm a pretty chill person, but I absolutely DESPISE the "Percabeth will break up when they're adults" take. Because it makes no fucking sense, like what?? What part of him LOSING HIS GODDAMN MEMORY AND ONLY REMEMBERING HER do you not understand? How does her LITERALLY COUNTING THE DAYS, HOURS, AND MINUTES HE'S BEEN MISSING scream "This relationship won't last." I also really fucking hate the take where people say Annabeth let Percy fall with her, like no?? Did any one of you read Mark of Athena? She was literally begging him to let go of her, and she didn't even know she was going to get pulled in because it happened so fast. You can tell I really like Annabeth, right? In short, any take that villainizes my beautiful queen is automatically WRONG in my eyes because we wouldn't even have the story of Percy Jackson if not for Annabeth because she was literally the core of the first books.
Hi, I'm Star, and I am a member of the PJO fandom, be it books or show. I genuinely want to debate about anything about the fandom because I feel like a lot of misinformation and hate is being spread in the fandom really badly. Ask me about literally anything, and I will respond respectfully—unless it is a take so bad I actually have to cuss you out for it.
I am a show percabeth dick rider YOU only like show Percy We are NOT the same
I've got motivation to write a crack fic about me and Annabeth smooching Percy's in the corner ig
I just want Annabeth rn, maybe I'll go back to my Percy phase soon. Now do I do Leahbeth or Bookbeth or the secret third option which is me getting kissed by both of them at the same time
So as a treat to myself after the torture that is reading Perpollo fics, I had decided to read a Percabeth fic from one of my favorite authors. Only to get stabbed and shot with feelings. It's an alternate universe AU where the Great Prophecy doesn't exist and demigods are kind of regular people, and instead of meeting when they were 12, Percy and Annabeth meet when they're 15. My fatal mistake was not reading the fucking tags. Because imagine my surprise when I get hit with a fade-to-black scene only to get German suplexed into Annabeth getting pregnant and Percy being GONE. And it just keeps getting worse for both of them until they finally meet again, and then it gets worse again before getting way better. But every scene between Percy and Asterea made me want to bawl my fucking eyes out.
Tell me why I'm frolicking through the Percabeth tag, enjoying my life, and then get hit with some corny shit. Like, no, I don't want to read anything from the AnnaDEATH contest; you're actually pathetic. And also before I get hit with "Erm, don't like, don't read 🤓," I didn't. It's just weird to see it. I could write a whole paragraph on how most Annabeth haters have internal misogyny, but I don't feel like it. As I'm scrolling, I keep seeing more and more; it's getting annoying. Of course I'm just going to filter it out and move on with my day. But I think it's something worth thinking about on a later date.
I just read a peak supernatural and percy jackson crossover and I mourn the fact it hasn't been updated since MARCH 2025. Even if they killed my amazing, spectacular, stupendous, intelligent, creative, strong, beautiful queen Annabeth Chase off. It was so peak fiction and they made the dynamics really well and I mourn the loss of it like I mourn the draft of me making out with Annabeth Chase.
