i mean. the frat boy eren concept by itself wasn’t bad. it was whatever not my problem. and its not even just w eren, he was just the first example bc the aot fics went CRAZY in 2020-2022 lmfao

however it was honestly just. really insane LMFAO. seeing the ‘default’ x readers get really thought out fics with love and care put in. meanwhile damn near every x black reader somehowwwwww turned every character into a thug. turned y/n into a freaky baby mama from the hood. botched AAVE, etc etc. (add in extra layer about how all the characters they did this with had 0 proximity to blackness. insane)

like there’s a very clear and STARK difference between how ‘x readers’ and ‘x black readers’ are written. and its even WORSE coming from black authors in my opinion 😭 like cmon free yourself from this its actually ridiculous
