He'd been fighting the urge to ask numerous questions, seeing as Cloud found the guy in the basement of a mansion... and had to fight the guy... Well... It was probably best to keep how many questions he actually had to a minimum. He knew they all had a personal vendetta against the same person... and unfortunately for that person, that meant they had a common enemy... for now. But the question had him near jumping out of his skin. He couldn't deny the silence that the group had when wandering around with Cloud for the time being. Usually, Zack would be chatting with Aerith, or Tifa... even Barret. This guy.. was new. And oddly offsetting.
"The ultimate goal is to get the person responsible, yes. Why?" A simple question. He was alright stepping back and letting Cloud handle things here and there. Now was one of those times. He could hang back and let him handle things from the front while he personally hung back and socialized with the others. When Cloud wanted him to take back the reins, he'd ask. "And don't worry, we'll make sure they get what's coming to them."
