Scenarios: Protective: Is he protective? How does he show it? Etc.
Pairing: Daniel Jackson x Gn!Reader
Requested By: Anonymous
Warnings: N/A
Words: ~350
A/N: This isn't very long and it's not great, but at least I finally got to it lol (this is a very old request 😬) I'm hoping quick headcanons might help me get into writing actual fics again.
Daniel is protective of anyone he cares about, but when it comes to you, it's on a whole other level.
He's not toxic, he doesn't stop you from doing anything and everything, but he definitely shows his concern and fears.
He'll talk things over with you, make sure you know what kind of situation you are walking into.
"If they end up being aggressive, just make sure-" "Daniel" "I know, I know. I just don't want you to get hurt."
The life you live, anything can become dangerous at any moment.
You are the last person he wants to lose.
If he can, he will be by your side, if he can't, he worries over your safety the whole time.
"Just promise you'll come back to me." "I'll always come back."
If you are in danger, he tries to get to you as quick as he can, and he will do whatever he needs to, to get you safely back into his arms.
When missions get dangerous and you get lost or taken hostage, Daniel is the first to push a rescue mission.
Jack has to reel him in and make him focus on a plan to make sure you get back in one piece.
He is protective of you in other ways as well.
If anyone says something bad about you? Daniel sass levels rise to an all time high, and he defends you until the person who said anything is left speechless.
If someone tries to argue with you or steps forward to progress an argument, Daniel is stepping forward to meet them with glaring eyes and a clenched fist.
He protects you with words and actions, and would do so with his last temporary dying breath.
All this being said, Daniel knows you can protect yourself in many situations, and has no doubt you can handle yourself.
But he worries nonetheless, solely from the fear of you getting hurt in any way.
You are precious to him, and though you are strong and capable, he wants you safe and sound more than anything.

Summary: You’ve been contemplating an anxiety inducing question and it’s finally time you talk to your boyfriend about it.
Wordcount: 735
Warnings and tags: Mostly fluff, slight bit of angst in the form of anxiety. Established relationship, reader is a nerd (generally), mention of death but what else is new, mentions of anxiety, marriage, and anxieties about marriage, this was written by someone with anxiety and autism and you can tell, autistic Daniel cuz I said so, second person POV, no use of Y/N
A/N: My first ever (completed) fanfic! Probably gonna rewrite it one day. Written because there is a criminal lack of x reader content for my dear Daniel and goddess bless the rare people who do write it
Beta read by the lovely Magickmoons
Read on Ao3
Daniel is quite possibly the best partner. Ever. Yeah, okay that sounds hyperbolic. And it probably technically is. Doesn’t mean you can’t feel it. And why wouldn’t you when he’s just so sweet and kind and smart and oh so very autistic in the exact way that clicks with you. You love that he lets you rant and rave about whichever of your special interests had consumed your mind that day and you could listen to him infodump about something you probably don’t even understand literally forever.
So of course it had been bugging you for a while. You always were a hopeless romantic, so maybe it wasn’t surprising that when you let your mind wander you’d occasionally fantasize about marriage. Especially with him…
But you were also a very anxious person, and so of course the first thought out of those daydreams was… his late wife.
It’s not that you didn’t like her. You’d only ever heard good things about her from Daniel and though you never met her, you could tell she must’ve been a lovely person and you could easily imagine getting along with her. It’s just that you were hyper aware of the fact that, had she not died, you almost certainly would have never even met Daniel, much less be in the best relationship of your life with him. And maybe a part of you wondered if he would ever even consider marrying you, or that was a role that would always belong to her.
You almost hated yourself for thinking about it like that, like you were jealous of a dead woman. You really weren’t! Daniel made sure you knew how important you were to him all the time, but gods your mind just wouldn’t let up.
Today you had finally mustered up the courage to talk to him about it, so, walking quickly to his office before you lost the nerve, you thought through the ways you could broach the subject. Luckily you had the perfect “cover” of sorts. You could always ignore your emotions in favor of scientific objectivity, and he knew that… Which meant that a lot of your early relationship sounded more like an odd emotional experiment than anything romantic. It was romantic to you though. This is just how nerds flirt. At least, nerds like you.
You knocked on the door automatically as you reached it, stepping inside as he lifted his head to look at you.
“Hey,” he smiled. “Did you need something? Or are you just visiting for fun?” He leaned on his desk, arms crossed.
“Uhm, c-can I talk to you about… something?” you asked quietly, fidgeting with your hands.
He frowned softly, your anxiety obvious as he sat up straighter. “Yeah. Yeah, of course. Is everything alright?”
“Yeah! Yeah, totally, I just, ehm… I have a hypothetical for you. Purely theoretical with no bearing or basis on reality,” you ramble on nervously, blinking at him.
He nodded quickly, relaxing slightly at the familiar start of a usual conversation. “Okay… Give me the parameters.”
“Uhm… U-under the current circumstances… H-hypothetically, would you…” You sighed heavily, starting to regret your decisions as you lean against the door.
You chewed on your lip, finally looking at him properly and, with the safety net of scientific research, finally asked, “Would you ever marry me?”
“Yes,” he answered without missing a beat. As if it was obvious, normal. Mundane…
“I- W-what!?” you spluttered, blinking rapidly at him as you flushed slightly. “J-just- Just “yes”?! Just like that!?”
“Did you expect me to say no?” He tilted his head slightly, looking at you softly.
“I- I-I mean kinda.”
“Why?”
“Well… I mean… I-I mean you- you already… were… Once… I-I don’t know, maybe you… don’t want to… again…”
He smiled softly. “Honey, if I wasn’t ready to move on, I wouldn’t be with you.”
“I- I-I know, I just… I didn’t know if…”
He finally stood up, rounding his desk and walking over to you. He gently placed his hands on your arms, thumbs stroking soothingly.
“You are more than enough.” He smiled softly, pressing a quick kiss to your forehead. “And if that hypothetical ever changes to a proper experiment…” He smirked. “You let me know.”
You blinked at him, blushing softly as your shoulders relaxed, smiling and nodding. “Yeah… I will.”
You had a feeling that that experiment could be closer than you realized.
anyways, let me know if i need to like, add any tags or anything, I'm very new to posting... basically anything
hope you enjoyed my self indulgent ramblings ^_^
If anybody has an interest in Stargate atlantis fanfiction, I'm open for requests. (Just look at my request guidelines on my pinned post) I'll write for any of the male characters 👀🌌👽
Pairing: Cameron Mitchell/Reader (no pronouns used)
Warnings: implications of a hook-up (nothing explicit)
Summary: The reader is an old friend of Sam's, so she has licence to tease. Cam however, isn't amused.
Notes:
I knocked this out in 2 hours, which I haven't done in ages. The brain rot is really strong, apparently. Also, obviously I'm operating outside of/around canon for this, as I don't have any actual knowledge of Cam/his role in the show.
In this scenario I'd imagined that the reader once worked for the sgc, but left and is now occasionally used as a contact. Has met Cam before this, though (as they're still sometimes called on by Landry when he's running low on options.)
'Damn, (Y/N). I knew you had low standards, but really?' Sam teased, watching as you stood in the doorway awkwardly doing the buttons up on your shirt. 'Cam?'
'You can't talk!' You replied, referencing Jack.
'I'm still here, you know!' Cam interjected, from the bed before Sam could say her response. He'd pulled the coverlet up his chest; obviously not wanting to be this exposed in front of his colleagues. 'Don't talk about me like I'm not in the room!'
'We're not, we just think you need to....well, think with your head more often.' You teased.
'(Y/N)! Don't make me throw this pillow at you!'
You laughed, and Sam hid a smile. You looked at her, raising an eyebrow.
(Man, you'd missed her. She really should visit when she wasn't on mission more often.)
'What?' Sam asked. 'I didn't say anything!'
'Just get out, please!' Cam groaned.
'You know we're not letting this go, right?' (Y/N) questioned.
'Yeah.' Cam sighed. 'Just.....don't tell Vala. Then I'll really never hear the end of it.'
'No promises!' You replied, following Sam and shutting the door.
Stargate SG-1: Daniel Jackson
WordCount: 987
T(W): Capture, Language Barriers
Request: Yes - Anon "Hey could I request a Daniel Jackson x reader where reader is an alien humanoid from a planet similar to ours and he falls in love again, this time promising no one will harm them or take them from him. Just generally lots of fluff lol or you could make it into a head canon same idea maybe how they met? Just whatever you feel works best"
A/N: Okay I may have gotten slightly carried away with this one, and then had to reign myself in ^^;
It wasn’t supposed to happen like this, he wasn’t supposed to feel these feelings again. It shouldn’t have been possible, he had met his soulmate and lost her. You were just a stranger from another world, who just so happened to be the cause of his current state. You had come through the Stargate by accident. You had fallen through a wormhole which had resonated at your own planet and fallen through the one at Stargate Command. Their iris had failed to engage when your wormhole led to theirs. You were sitting in a room while they decided what to do with you and how credible your story was. You were sitting on a chair rocking on its two back legs, your own legs crossed on the table, bending every so often to continue your rocking motion. You had found a book sitting in an end table and decided to peruse it, it took you a while to understand the language and the scripture which the text was written in, but after hearing the ‘humans’ as they called themselves, speak in their tongue and how they would read their scripture, it didn’t take long for you to pick up the speech patterns and behaviours of your now captors.
From what you gathered they were looking for how you had managed to prevent their iris from engaging when the wormhole had opened. You had stayed quiet during your interrogation, mostly because you were still navigating the language barrier. Now that you had cracked their code, you were trying to work out why your random wormhole experiment had sent you to another planet several thousand light years away from your home planet. You were hoping that the innate book you were reading would allow your mind to work in the background, trying to find an answer to the same question that your interrogators were asking. You had found that allowing a problem to work itself in your subconscious was the best way to get an answer to a particularly annoying problem.
One of the humans, a male with brown hair and glasses, had dropped by a couple of times, tried different languages, that you came to learn were dead on this planet, that it confused your ability to understand the language at first. Once you realised what he was trying to do, you were able to better compartmentalise the languages and work on focussing on the main language of the world, or the people on the base at the very least.
The young brunette, Daniel from what you gathered, was sweet, patient and was the only ‘human’ who was trying to communicate with you. You almost returned the favour in your native tongue but thought it best to remain silent. He would bring you beverages and food native to the planet and leaving you to them in your own time. You appreciated the gesture, but tended not to eat or drink anything, mostly because you weren’t sure what contaminants they used in their irrigation supplies, or even if their food would have been compatible with you or not. Your planet was not unfamiliar with the rules of ‘planet hopping’, do not eat or drink what the locals give you, do not interfere in their natural development and try not to intervene in the mechanical development of the people.
Daniel was persistent, you’d give him that. Once he realised that you could understand his native language, he reverted to speaking to you in that. He said that although you hadn’t said you’d understood him, he could tell from your reactions that you had a better understanding of the language, than you had previously. According to Daniel you had been there for around 3 days now, your people had a high tolerance for food and drink depravation, your planet was used to being at war with another and being deprived of those necessities on an almost constant basis. Your people had buried the hatchet with the warring planets, and had been at peace for close to a decade, but the evolution of your people had still allowed for those changes to be permanent.
Everyday Daniel appeared, like clockwork, sometimes with another member of his team, but most normally alone. He would sometimes appear with one of the men who had been interrogating you, Colonel O’Neill, you believed. Other times with a yellow haired female, Dr. Carter, but whenever he appeared with another it was, more often than not, a stern looking man with a golden emblem on his head. You believed his name was Teal’c, although you couldn’t fathom how to spell that in either language, merely how it sounded. When you had first arrived Teal’c had attempted to speak to you in, what you assumed to be, his native tongue and a couple of others you believed he had picked up over decades. You could tell he was not a native of the planet you were currently on due to something off about his presence. You couldn’t figure out what it was, but you knew that something about him was not like the others of this world, although you thought you had sensed a similar thing about Dr Carter occasionally, but nothing quite as concrete as with Teal’c.
After a few more weeks in the room, you slowly began trying the local cuisine (granted against your better judgement) and found it to be not too dissimilar to your own food. You had grown accustomed to Daniel’s presence and had grown to be quite fond of the time you both were spending together, and something about Daniel made you believe that he too enjoyed spending time with you, especially when he began bringing you new reading materials and witing equipment, you would admit that the writing materials proved useful for your thought process in trying to figure out the stargate and wormhole conundrum which was plaguing both yourself and Dr. Carter.

AN: another for @lilyevans1 I have a whole set coming so this will be fun! It's been a hot minute since I wrote for Daniel so hopefully this is good.
Warnings: none just pure fluff
There was a groan from behind me as the sun streamed in through the window. Burying my face in the pillow, I tried to resist the urge to wake up. The world of my dreams seemed better and Daniel seemed to agree behind me.
"What time is it?" A shiver went through me as he spoke. I would never get over his voice in the morning. Letting out a soft giggle, I felt him press his face against my neck. A few minutes passed with us in that position before he spoke again. "Apparently too early for either of us to actually be awake." He pulled away from me and I felt the bed shift as he moved onto his back. The cool air against my back made me groan and firmly pulled me into the land of awake. Glancing over my shoulder, I watched as he pushed his hair out of his face. I giggled again and rolled over so I could put my head on his chest.
"You sir need a haircut." Daniel rolled his eyes at me and gently dropped his arms around me.
"I'll get one eventually." He carefully drew circles into my back as we internally debated on getting up. "Do you have work today?" I groaned. "Ok nevermind. We're not going there this morning. I don't. So I'm just going to lay here with you in my arms until it is absolutely necessary for us to get up." Daniel gently tugged me up higher on his chest so he could put his chin on the top of my head.
"How did Jack manage to get you guys a day off today?" I mumbled. Daniel shrugged. Comfortable silence enveloped us as the light started to stream in stronger with each passing minute. When the room was fully lit up, I gently pulled away from Daniel. "I think it's time to get up." He groaned but sat up as well.
"I think you're right." He gently kissed me before getting off the bed and putting on his glasses.
"To answer your question from earlier, I do have to work today." I said as he walked to the bathroom. "I leave in about twenty minutes." Daniel doubled back and pulled me in for a hug.
"In case I'm not done before you leave, have a good day at work. I know that sounds contradictory but somehow I know you'll find a way." He kissed my nose. "I'll be here tonight to hear all about how shitty it was and make you dinner. I love you." He kissed me gently before letting go of me and collecting his clothes from the dresser he left them on.
"I love you too." He smiled at me before he closed the bathroom door and left me to get ready for the day.
Hello! I saw your post about the requests, I'm happy someone write for Stargate!. So, what about Teal'c x Reader where they are stranded on a planet and have to deal with enemies or a monster trying to find them to attack them while also dealing with their undisclosed feelings for each other? I let it open enough so you can write it as you prefer but I do hope both Teal'c and Reader survive the planet! Thank you!
YESS OMFG
TEAL’C MY LOVE
Hope you like its its been a minute since I’ve seen sg1
Peep the annihilation reference
———————————————————————————————————
You’re holding your throbbing ankle and trying to choke back tears as Teal’c reaches you at the bottom of the embankment you had just tumbled down. You’re outrunning a giant bear-like creature with a skull for a face and the terrifying ability to mimic human speech. It seemed to have picked up Sam yelling “Run!” As you all were separated and it was now taunting you as it hunted you through the the forest.
You had only been part of the SG1 away team for about a year now as the new zoologist and had grown quite close to all four members, but you had a sort of connection with Teal’c. You were in love with the alien but doubted it was reciprocated. Sometimes though when he looked at you with a soft look in his eyes, you begin to wonder.
“Are you alright?” He asks as he crouches down next to your shaking form resting against the base of a large tree.
You nod, and slowly peel your sock away from you ankle and wiggle your toes. It’s not broken thankfully, but there’s no way you’d be able to walk on it.
“It’s not broken, but Teal’c, listen to me. You need to leave me here and get back to the gate. You can come back with help but you need to go.” You look him right in the eyes as you say it so he know’s that you mean business. He frowns, looking at you with an intense look in his beautiful brown eyes.
“I am not leaving you here alone. We will fare much better together than apart against that beast.” You stare at each other for a moment when suddenly, you hear something crashing toward you through the bushes. Teal’c moves quickly, and points his Zat gun in the direction, throwing an arm in front of you protectively. The move make your chest feel warm, and you grab onto his arm with one hand and unholster your handgun, pointing it in the direction of whatever is coming your way.
You both hold your breath as the creature bursts through the line of bushes and see… cubs?
“Oh my god.” You breathe. There are two miniature versions of the horrid creature from before looking at you and sniffing the air. If you weren’t scared out of your pants you would almost say that they were cute. They just sit there looking at you and you at them.
Teal’c twitches like he’s about to shift and your grip on his arm tightens.
“Don’t move!” You whisper to him. He shifts his head towards you almost imperceptibly as you speak. “We must have wandered into their territory. The one from before must be their mother. Don’t make any sudden movements.”
After a moment, a gut wrenching animal scream is heard in the distance, and the cubs turn and run towards the sound. You both stay still for another moment, before finally relaxing when nothing else happens. Teal’c turns to you as you holster your gun and shift for your own comfort.
“Can you walk?” He asks, voice full of concern.
You shake your head at him. “I don’t think sO-” In one fluid movement, he picks you up bridal style while still holding his weapon. You gasp and quickly wrap your arms around his broad shoulders. You stare into each other’s eyes for what seems like a moment too long, before he turns his head and starts walking.
———————————————————————————————————
The next morning after getting medical attention, your ankle is wrapped tightly and you’re confined to crutches for a few weeks while you heal up. You’ve just opened the door to your quarters to grab some breakfast when you startle when you see Teal’c standing there.
“Oh, Teal’c! Did you need something?” You ask, hands twitching on your crutches.
“I was wondering if I could accompany you to breakfast.” He says, stepping aside so you can move through the doorway. You smile at him as he looks at you warmly.
