What If Kitty Pryde Stayed on Spartax?

So, I’ve been thinking a LOT about what would have happened if Kitty Pryde had decided to stay on Spartax with Peter Quill instead of returning to Earth after The Black Vortex, Secret Wars (2015) and the Guardians series that followed. Like, imagine Kitty not just as the First Partner of Spartax, but as a major player in galactic politics, a warrior-queen in her own right.

She wouldn’t just be “Peter’s fiancée.” She’d be out there negotiating peace treaties, overhauling outdated Spartaxian policies, and probably leading a strike force to take down the next big cosmic threat. And you know she’d have some badass ceremonial armor—part Spartaxian royal, part X-Men, part Guardian of the Galaxy. Maybe even her own elite guard?

But also… what would this mean for the X-Men? For mutantkind? Would she try to bring Earth’s mutant struggle to the stars? Could she convince her mother to join her on Spartax? And what happens when the next big war comes knocking—does she side with her home planet or her new one?

SO MANY POSSIBILITIES.

Would she thrive as a cosmic leader? Or feel trapped in a role that’s never quite fit? Would she and Peter last, or would they ultimately outgrow each other?

After far too long tweaking, editing and re-editing this, it’s finally done!

It’s karaoke night with the Guardians, and Peter and Kitty volunteered to duet “My heart will go on.” Needless to say, he got really into it XD
