He..REALLY didn’t mean for that word to slip out.
His friends had teased him about Howard being his Daddy earlier that day, and it was stuck in his head all day. He certainly liked the idea, but would NEVER, ever think about bringing it up. There was something so DOMINATE about Howard that was without the roughness, he didn’t need the harsh words or looks. All he had to do was work his usual charm and have that familiar I-dare-you-to-disobey-me glint to his eyes, and whoever was in his line of sight would instantly crumble to his will, especially women. Peter never thought it’d work on him however, yet here he was thinking about it. Thinking about all the pros and cons to having Howard as a daddy and being able to call him as such, and as far as he could tell there were no cons. He was barely paying attention to Howard’s inquiries and by the time he came back to reality with a pink tinted face he was listening and nodding to his boss’ needs. However, that look of incredulous and impatience, the snippy tone of his voice when he told Peter to hurry had Peter feeling more submissive than normal and before he knew it he was rolling his eyes and responding with a bow of his head and a ‘YES DADDY.’
It was by then he stopped in his tracks and felt his face warm at Howard’s next words, cursing internally and slowly turning around to face the older man with an apprehensive expression. Peter smiles crookedly, swallowing thickly and chuckling nervously. Now was so not the time for his body to begin heating up. ‘Yes, that’s EXACTLY what I want but like hell I’m gonna say that, shit.’
“U-um, no sir? I’m sorry. It was a j-joke, I swear it won’t happen again.” He slowly backing out of the room, clutching the folders of paperwork to his chest with one hand and wishing to hide behind them at this point, with any luck Howard will let it go and Peter will be able to save his reputation with the older Stark.

It certainly wasn’t on purpose or by design. Honestly Steve just got really cold, really easily. And Howard was really warm. Though when he feels the other grind into him, he lets out a low sound and his eyes flutter open. “Mmmm....” he curls a bit, burying his face into his pillow, trying to stifle any sounds.

@starkclassic Tony stood in the meeting room he'd been shown into. SHIELD had called him down for what he had assumed to be a simple consulting job, look at some files, give his opinion, that kind of thing, it was quick, easy work and sometimes it was fun, but when he looked up he knew today was not going to be quick, easy, or fun. Jumping to his feet he scowled as he saw him, young, like he hadn't aged at all since the last time Tony had seen him, when was that? Before Tony took over the company, maybe for Maria's funeral? Had Howard even attended the funeral? He couldn't remember and he tried to never think about the funeral. "No," Tony said when Fury and Howard walked into the room. "I'm not working with him, he is not a part of our deal," he stayed on one side of the table while Fury and Howard stood on the other, he didn't care if he offended Howard, for all he cared Howard wasn't there.

Something important was happening. Phoebe had sensed it the moment her father had asked her to do her homework in her room at his place, when they got back from the school run. He usually helped her if she needed it but it seemed that day she was to do it on her own. Most of the time, however, she spent looking out the window or generally just not focusing on her work, but the moment she heard footsteps she quickly grabbed her pencil and pretended to be hard at work. When they stopped outside her door, she glanced behind her, about to assure her father that she was nearly finished, but stopped when she saw it wasn’t him. Immediately a little apprehensive, Phoebe sat up a bit straighter. “Hello,” she said, sounding slightly nervous. “Does-, Does my dad know you’re here?”
