Ruth, Eleanor... I am sorry about my mum today. I still have no idea on why she brought fanfiction up in our conversation. But on the way home, she was asking whether we 'wrote what we think should have happened', and seemed quite interested. (oh no, definitely not.) I had to explain how it was more used to put our favourite characters in different situations... It was quite awkward.
