starkkid answered: dear verypaleale, you asked for an ask so i am asking you…an…ask. what’s your favorite time of day and why? i want specifics. Ooh! Well, let me see. I'm torn between two times- around 1PM and 10PM.
1PM because it's not quite the middle of the day, but far enough in that you feel as if you might have accomplished something, yet early enough that you still have so much time on your hands. Outside it's not quite that burning heat that comes around 3, and there's still enough of a breeze from morning to keep it fresh. Where I live, the sky is usually quite clear, and the birds are going and it's an all around wonderful and beautiful time.
10PM because by then I'm ready for the night, quite comfortable and relaxed with a good book or movie (or tumblr). My house is far enough away from the town that the lights don't mar the stars as much. If I turn off the outside lights, I can see the Milky Way. So, often times, if it's not too muggy outside I will sit out and try and count them, with the breeze and the crickets and cicadas and such. Again, a lovely and relaxed and beautiful time.
dawn and dusk are lovely times, too <3
Things I have...
SERIOUS PROBLEMS.
I'm contemplating going to Chicago, for a day.
So, Jessica's driving to Bloomington on August 8th.
Bloomington is 4 hours from Chicago.
Leaky Con is in Chicago.
AVPSY is happening on August 11.
I could go with her, we could go to Chicago, get day passes for Leaky and see AVPSY.
And then I could fly back to Newport News for the last 4 days of my summer.
I'm looking at a total cost of a little less than $300 for plane and event tickets.
Is my crazy fan-girl-ness worth $300?
Will I regret spending that money, or am I going to regret not going?
Thought you guys would like to see some awesome Darren Criss moments!!
