Work as a paramedic in New York firehouse 61, was stressful. She’d helped victims in a group with guns pointed to her head, been through countless casualties and ran into burning buildings.
Something that made it easer though, was Tony. His cheeky smile and his witty comments, and how he woke her with a kiss. Though, going out on a call, she was always scared she’s lose him.
When she was sat next to a scared girl trying to clean the smoke from her lungs and she saw Tony run into the burning building once more – she was frightened out of her mind. The paramedic laid all her trust in him, but she’d lost too many and didn’t want to go to her fiancé’s funeral.
This morning, she drew a soft breath after changing, walking into the engagement room. “Hey,” She mumbled softly with a light wave, smiling when their co-workers greeted her. Grabbing a cup of coffee, she placed a light kiss to Tony’s cheek and slid into the chair next to him. “Any news?”
