YEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!! it was actually the very first "chapter" book i ever read on my own and it will always hold a special place in my heart. (not to mention it is REALLY GOOD and everyone should read it yes)

YESSS the secret adversary was free on ibooks and i read it in one sitting last night I COULDN’T STOP TOMMY AND TUPPENCE ARE THE LITERAL CUTEST (and not too shabby in the detective department either)

i think i told you i don't generally reread books very often, but i've read the secret adversary prolly four or five times in the last two years. THEY'RE JUST SO DANG ADORABLE AND HILARIOUS

(also i had to reread it anyways 'cause the first time i had the bad guy pegged entirely wrong and so everything was skewed toward the wrong person) (i was all WAIT SO YOU WEREN'T THE BAD GUY?? DUDE IM SO SORRY now i feel bad  i need to read all your scenes again and not twist everything you say into something sinister)

2. who's your favorite driver not currently on the grid?

tough one...but probably niki lauda. he's disliked by a lot of people, but i think he's a really inspiring person & driver; in 1976 at the german grand prix at the nurburgring, he was trapped in a burning car with flames upward of 800 degrees, was nearly killed from inhaling toxic fumes, had the whole right side of his head horribly burned, and still came back a couple of months later to race. he got back in the car and some people may find that idiotic, but to me it's the ultimate show of courage. (he continued to race and win for nine more years)

7. which team do you think is the best on the grid?

that varies from season to season; this season it's mercedes (which isn't just my opinion--everyone in the sport agrees.) last year and in 2011 it was red bull, in 2009 it was brawn, in years past it's undoubtedly been ferrari and mclaren. but this year, mercedes has dominated everything

10. build your team: two drivers, one test driver, a team boss and whatever personnel you like. remember to pick a name and colour scheme.

simona de silvestro & daniel ricciardo as drivers, max verstappen as the test driver, christian horner as team boss, don't really have a preference for personnel except adrian newey or ross brawn designing the car, name: this team already exists but i want to say lotus because that's just the COOLEST name, color scheme: silver and green maybe??? that's probably an old lotus color scheme, or gold and light blue I'M BAD AT THIS

13. who is the greatest driver of all time?

statistically, michael schumacher. aside from that, it's a matter of opinion; i couldn't narrow it down to just one. ayrton senna, alain prost, jim clark, juan manual fangio, niki lauda, sebastian vettel, and fernando alonso are considered to be some of the best in history.

this was so long-winded and for that i apologize, whenever someone gives me the chance to talk about this i just go overboard

ACK HOW TO CHOOOSE. well. “Zuko Alone” is up there, as is the “Sozin’s Comet” quartet (‘cause i mean !!!); OH and “the Awakening.” ;-; (none from Korra mainly because i’ve only seen them once….i really need a rewatch…..)

9. Favorite minor character?

haaard one, but i think Teo. (‘cause i don’t think Jinora or Kai or Lin count as minor characters anymore….right?)

ACK THIS IS HARD but i think when he burned his staff in the Awakening. ;-; i love that part it hurts me so much. it was such a huge step for him - he fully committed himself to his role as the Avatar, no matter what the personal cost. and then he burns one of the few things he has that still connects him with his people - his most precious possession, which until now he has jealously guarded - because it would interfere with his mission. *weeps forever*

15. Favorite Zuko moment?

tie between when he apologized to Iroh and when he confronted his father. (◡‿  ◡✿)

singing vera lynn songs, reading an agatha christie, cellos, finding nemo, and stargazing.

Nova: When were you happiest?

hmmm this is a hard one....perhaps when i was around ten and my family and i were in puerto rico and we hiked up a mountain and followed a river and swam in the cool, clear water, and looked at waterfalls, and clambered over rocks, and caught shrimp; or else when i was thirteen and had to stop and laugh at myself because i was hightlighting every other verse in the psalms.

Zenith: What makes you feel good about yourself?

when i manage to communicate my thoughts clearly, and when i make someone laugh a good long laugh.

I think we’re both pretty realistically optimistic; we see the problem, but we also see possible solutions. we both express our affection through spending quality time with the person. we’re generally open handed. work is not our forte, but if the need is there we can get ‘er done. however, neither of us like asking for help; we’d rather work it out on our own. also, we sometimes provide comic relief amongst friends or family free of charge!

tbh tommy is 200% more thoughtful and encouraging than I am. if I can be half as supportive to my loved ones as him I will be happy.

D'aww, you look so cute! I love your hair pulled back especially. :) I find it helps when it's long enough to ponytail, but my hair isn't quite the same as yours. (But it still frizzes terribly with humidity, & I'm about ready to chop it off again.)

thankee dear!!! yeahh; I've noticed that when I go places where the humidity isn't constantly 70% or higher my hair becomes strangely limp...
