Loved the newest update!! Bluepaw and Yellowpaw are so sweet and my girl Aldertail becoming a mentor was unexpected, but honestly a great choice since it should definitely help her with her confidence and interactions with others! I'm so curious as to why Russet chose her specifically though 🤔 i wonder if he thought that since she's from the city and how horrible and traumatic of a life it was and the family she lost would be a good deterrent if the greenlings ever got curious about their mother and other heritage? Guess we'll have to find out! And I will be eagerly waiting to see how it unfolds :] Thank you for the newest update!

GENUINELY CHAPTER 7 WAS SOOOOO GOOD LIKE,,,, THE TAIL REVEAL?? THE T E E T H ??? genuinely felt a pit in my stomach that was such a good build up and like!!! Oh!! Horrifying!! And i love horror and suspense!!!! They maimed and killed him surely!!! And if darkstripe isn't dead that's even more scary they brutalized and disabled this man to such extreme lengths like I'm surprised if they didn't take his eyes too. As the person who celebrated him leaving and getting verbally eviscerated by Firestar very enthusiastically I'm just like,,, wow. Horrifying. I hate him very much but even I feel bad for him like I can't imagine how terrifying it must have been. Did they take his teeth first so he couldn't bite back? Or did they take his tail so he couldn't run away properly, too off balanced to escape their maze. We will probably never know. And the what ifs and unknown make it better!!! Enthusiastically awaiting to see how this book plays out because I am hooked with that brief horror the Blood and Scourge have displayed in such a short amount of time, way to establish that you are a threat that demands to be taken seriously. Aghhhh I'm always amazed with this rewrite <3

I want to take a moment and make sure I credit Lynx for this chapter - it was her idea to have the Blood do what they did to Darkstripe, I just wrote it. Personally, I adore it. It's such a fun and upsetting way to show what the Blood is willing to do, don't you think?

Joining in the pets given Iterum names! My two cats are siblings! Calling him either Dipperface or Swiftface, he's a stockier black point that fades into a dark brown and has white feet, belly and muzzle. Also has a kinked short tail, and he knows he looks fabulous. He weaponizes it. His sister is a Poppycloud; black and ginger tortie point that fades into pale brown and cream with similar white markings and is the gentlest, calmest cat I've ever had. They're getting adventurous but old now.
