This is it.

I'm officially starting work on a comic!

It's under the working title of Starman, focusing on my character Sammy Emerald as he adjusts to life on Earth after falling from space.

Right now I'm working on character designs, settings, possible/definite storylines and playlists to establish the main characters' personalities.

Depending on how things go I may make a separate blog for Starman, but for now I'll be talking about it here.

The first chapter will probably be a long way off realistically, but I'm determined to make this happen.

If anyone wants to send asks regarding anything to do with Starman, I'd really appreciate it! Talking about it with others will keep me motivated.

what's starman about? i know the main characters are ballerinas and there that one character with the really cool wings so i'm super curious

It's about an alien (the one with the cool wings) named Sammy, who falls to Earth and adjusts to his new life. Although Sammy is the main character (and the audience's eyes), his friends have their own story arcs where they deal (and struggle) with their personal issues and conflicts, e.g.: Honey's attempts to cope with being parentified, and Theo recovering from the recent death of his mother.

The story is set in a 1980s inspired Earth, although it's not an exact one-to-one copy of our world.

My 80sverse has expanded! Meet Francesco Aliprandi and Honey Harris!

Francesco is an Italian exchange student. Whilst he can't accomplish his dream of becoming a professional motorcyclist, he's still the best student in mechanics class. And with his new girlfriend Honey's support, he may have found his new career path...

Honey Harris is the aspiring prima ballerina of Bronze Bay High's ballet troupe, and Lucy Skye's biggest frenemy. Her dream is to be part of a professional dance company, and someday she might just get her big break.
