Tablet OS: Windows VS Android Part II
Next, we look at the User Interface. Once again the markedly different approaches contrast the two Mobile OS’s, the Android’s app display can be customized with a simple drag and drop function, apps can be pulled from the Application Tray an alphabetical list of all available apps and dropped anywhere on the five panes that come standard allowing for dedicating a pane to a certain theme such as social networks or games. We could compare Windows’ two screens to the Androids’ five but remember Windows has focused on fast, efficient information delivery so that you spend less time on your phone not more. All in all if it’s an abundance of app choices you’re looking for then the Android is your bet, if you’re looking for efficiency then go with Windows.
