Day 12: I don't even know where I am anymore #startingtoloseit #nofilter #nofilterakahoefilter #nepal #himalayas
If someone at the doctors office had done their job right and faxed the damn referral yesterday morning like they were supposed to then I could have had the test done TODAY instead of waiting till FRIDAY, the only other day besides Tuesday that the endocrine lab (the only place in the entire fucking university health system where they offer my test) is open. So while I could have gotten results tomorrow, I now have to wait until next Monday. I understand its an uncommon test and 3 days doesn't seem like a big deal... But when you've been sick 3 weeks with no symptom relief, have no life because you barely leave the house, and are basing your entire schoolyear's plans on this diagnosis, 3 days IS a long time. Especially when the reason you're waiting is that someone didn't do their job right. Okay, I'll end the bitch rant here. Sorry, but patience is a struggle for me right now, in case you hadn't noticed...
