ohhh boy ok so, im still watching a PLA playthrough to get an idea on what the heck is actually going on lore wise and how much we know so far abt ingo's background

ive seen soooo many good headcanons and theories abt how he got there and how he lost his memories,

one of my favs is the theory of the footage logs that were shared on the official pokemon youtube channel to promote the game, being from ingo's perspective and the reason for his memory loss is cuz of his encounter with the hisuian zoroark (or zorua for the baby), showing that maybe arceus sent him to hisui as the first protagonist to complete his quest/trial or whatever he had planned for the protagonist we currently play as in legends

another theory is bcz of some encounter with legendary(?) or ultra pokemon, like the alien looking ones that are pink, yellow and blue, and engaging in eye contact can cause memory loss (idk HOW he'd happen to find them or if theyre related to hisui as well, if anybody feels like explaining go ahead, im grabbing a chair and lending an ear)
