She had to stay away from wearing her contact lenses for a few days and rest with bags of frozen peas on her eyes to prevent swelling. It cost $500 for both tops and bottoms. That was a very good price by comparison.

Within a few months Mom decided she needed more, it seemed too light. She was the residing in another state so she had to find someone else. This new artist was South American and did a fairly nice job but again, painful. She was half the price which was nice, $250.00.

A year or so went by and there was a lot of fading. This time Mom went to a local woman who had been trained, she was an aesthetician but they had to have a consult first. She showed us her eyes done by the person she studied under and Mom was off and running again. She had all the proper credentials.She was miraculously painless! She used a machine, much less pain. Basically none. I highly recommend the machine style of application. The first and last visits were all inclusive $500 and touch ups were free.

Mom loves not having to use eyeliner but she have hooded lids and small eyes so she still needed shadow. At this point the liner has definitely faded. She’s not going to bother having it redone. She would consider the whole eyelid shadowed if they could do it without it looking like paint. We’ve checked around and there are shadowing techniques but I think Mom has finally just lost interest in the whole thing. She’ll slap on the eye shadow as needed.
