Getting locked up was a mild inconvenience, but it wasn’t something that would derail the mission. Maybe kicking the guard to then just get punched in the face was also another inconvenience, buuuuut he’d make it through. The plans always some how fell into place. So when he ate the concrete when they tossed him into the cell, Xiang still had a smile on his face.
The only thing was that he wasn’t expecting to be shacked up with another spy they were trying to beat to the punch. Despite that, he was still grinning as he pulled himself up and sat cross legged on the floor. “You got far didn’t you?” Xiang hadn’t gotten very far himself, but the gave the others a chance to run through while the guards were distracted.
He continued to smile as he leaned up against the bars, getting himself comfortable. “Why do you look so tense? They can’t keep us in here forever. Relax.” Xiang’s arms went behind his head and he finally got comfortable against the bars. “I thought Statesmen were suppose to be the golden ticket of spies. Apparently not.” He had his plan on getting out and it was already started.
