How do you two feel about the ocean? I wanted to ask since I have a... Complicated relationship with it.

Is this about you, Emma, and Inga going to the beach earlier? It looked fun! I would have joined you, but sand gets in my gloves and I do not like that. At least not around other people.

I am pretty much neutral on the topic myself. Thanks to the Chronometers we have no need to travel by water or any other way, and the few universes that do involve the ocean are not particularly useful to us. I suppose my strongest feeling on the subject is how... even something as vast as the ocean seems small to us after traveling so long.

*Zenith leaves you for a bit. It seems like he's staying in a below-average motel, but it's serviceable. The walls are thin enough that you can hear Zenith's voice through them as he talks to Nadir, but not loud enough to make out anything. You can't hear Nadir at all, if he even is responding verbally.*

I have returned. He seems alright with it, but I would appreciate if you kept your voice softer and we could stick to some quieter activities. I can not really... leave right now. You understand.

Nuh-uh. I am Nadir, I have thought about this verrrrrry much. You like to wear warmer clothes than I do. Plus, you have the better upper body strength. So you squeeze verrry hard and it is comfy! See? Your hugs are provably better!

What has to be your worst breaking and entering experience so far?

Well... One time we found one of our Depot Agents apartments left unlocked. Actually, I am Nadir, I think the lock broke? Ingo and Emmet's usual place didn't belong to them in that universe. We did not have a place to stay or eat. So we... We tried to take something.

And who knew that depot agent would be hosting Emmet of all people? As an Ex-battle angel playing guardian no less ((Angel AU by @nartothelar))... and while he could not Prevent our Chronometers from functioning, he had awareness of them. I think he was... itching for a battle, perhaps?

Eons, I think I died 5 times...?

Yup. sounds right... You did a verrry good job protecting me though! And he was nice after we explained!! Um. Kinda...

Josh was nice about it. Emmet stared at us the entire night, until we left in the morning.

Well, maybe we should answer with our favorite cars that take us to other universes? We can give a much better answer that way!

Hm, alright, I like that idea. Well, an obvious one is the car that leads to Unova Champion!Emmet ((by @sparklychimecho)).

Yup! That's a good one! The one that leads to Angel!AU ((by @nartothelar)) is also verrrrry pretty and grand! Verrrry bright.

Hm, though it may be a strange pick, the one that takes us to Attrition, Retention ((by @fivefootoh)) is typically not so violent on its route. Its older make and the way it is overgrown is just... interesting to look at, and it is not uncomfortable to ride.

And Fae au! ((by @blueisquitetired)) it is like a fairytale! All pretty and full of flowers and birds! I am Nadir. I would not dare try to sleep on that one. Hehe.

And our favorite is quite obvious I believe.

Realistically, we could ask you two the same thing, and I believe our answers are one in the same.

... things are different. But they are good. Nothing broke, nothing... the earth is still spinning, is it not? I am Nadir, I am okay.

I am still grateful for you two, I can not give enough thanks for your presence during that time. I hope we were similarly of some comfort. Quite honestly, I wish I could do more for you, and Flamme as well. Please do not hesitate to ask in the future, we will always be just a station away.

You two have the power to go anywhere and to do anything. The only thing stopping you is your own morals. Do you two ever think of doing something just to see how it affect that universe?

I ask because it seem you two have already done some messed up things but, you feel guilt for those actions. That good. The power, you two have can easily go to someone head.

Hah... ahahah... That is- Eons, that is funny... Hilarious even.

I wanted that. I wanted to go mad with that power, in so many universes, at so many moments in time. I wanted to get what I needed, mess around, and leave a broken world in my wake. I wanted to get drunk off that power, revel in that distance I could put between myself and everything that exists.

... suppose I want to get drunk off a lot of things.

But Nadir always stopped me. Always reminded me that... These are people, just like us, they oftentimes literally Are us. He was so stubborn, wasted so much time when we could have taken instead of given. I was... frustrated, yet grateful, that he never allowed me to derail myself in my own selfishness.

Now I know why he was so stubborn.

... Now I know just how monstrous and immature I must have looked in those moments to him.
