Thought we'd catch our Froot Flies up on what we've been up to 😁 🔥 Naïka recently co-found @fruitionmtl, a new QTBIPOC collective centering trans and queer creatives of colour 🌈 She also released her debut solo album "Painted Imageries", now available on all major streaming platforms! 💖 Mags, co-founder of @luxmagnafest, came back to the 514 for its third edition after months of hard work making it happen across the border, while also working on a new collaborative album with @juicyfruiit_ "Age of Aquarius" (BandCamp & SoundCloud), launched at Lux Magna! Plus, Fruition & Lux collaborated with @overturewiththearts on an Afrocentric exhibition the day after 😍 🌟 Sage will be making their directorial debut on our next music video, already halfway shot in the US, so keep an eye out for more BTS this summer! So sad we couldn't make it out as a unit, but Naïka truly held it down on stage at the @mundialmontreal closing party for @nomadic_massive's 15th anniversary! 🎂 Everything we are and all that we stand for as a group, we owe so much to the Nomads, who took us in as youngins in 2014 at @nbs.studio, right below their own rehearsal space. World class MCs and musicians to y'all, but to us, the really cool aunties, uncles, older cousins (and also world class MCs and musicians 👀). Fast-forward almost a whole 3 years later, these kids opened to a sold out crowd, for one of the most prominent young femcees in American underground hip-hop, in one of MTL's most popular venues.
