Part of Eva's new clip on IGTV!! Michael Faraday and the @ri_science have had a major positive influence on our STEM outreach and learning.  A lot is owed to his genius and creativity and Eva's 2nd entry in @movaglobes #StayHomeScienceFair is also a tribute to him and the place he called home for the better part of his life. Faraday knew the value of early education and sought to inspire the next generation of thinkers and scientists. His most enduring work in this area are the #ChristmasLectures series he started that are still going strong today. This is where he often performed the candle experiment for kids in the audience. Keep in mind that the batteries WILL OVERHEAT if left connected to the circuit so always make sure to remove the battery at the end and only use it for short periods of time.
