We often hiked mountains, there were many uphill climbs, & while the views at the top were worth it, it was often a rocky downhill climb, over & over again. 

Eventually, I got tired of the rocks. I wanted a smooth journey in the mountains & in Love. While we did have a profound love, & I enjoyed our journey, it lacked the True Depth I craved.  I realized we were no longer hiking & growing together, but apart.  Perhaps someday someone may come along & decide to Choose to stay on the journey with me, growing together. 

For now, I’ll still hike mountains, but Choose to so alone, no longer settling in stagnancy, while staying Open.

Coming home today, everything came full circle. Even got to see the Geminids Meteor Shower last night, alone, in the deafening silence, of the pitch black desert night...
