A few weeks ago, I saw a schematic of 19 types of Cognitive Bias (a cognitive bias is a tendency toward a particular type of error in judgement). I was so impressed with the graphic design and the plausible-sounding arbitrariness of the number '19' that I didn't bother to research the matter further. Thus I fell victim to a particular type of cognitive bias, the first one listed on this Wiki - Anchoring.
