Have you played ECRYME ?
By Mathieu Gaborit and Guillaume Vincent
Let's mix some steampunk and post-apocalypse, and then some other stuff.
So around the start of our medieval age, the water started to rise. That's bad. Rise enough to only leave islands. That's worse. And the water became reg-green and highly corrosive. Even Better. This is the Ecryme and only rock, glass and metal resist it.
Now 1000 years later.... here we are. Books don't exist cause wood is too rare and valuable. Instead everything is recorded on vynils. Even administration stuff. The islands are linked together by the Web : giant bridges of rock or metal going into the horizon, sometimes to an other island, sometimes nowhere.
There's a lot of secrets to be discovered ( and included in the base book). There's terrorism, feudal societies resisting advancement, spying and whispers of weirder things. And of course there's airships. It's steampunk after all
Last year got a kickstarter for an english translation. As of this post, it is not out yet, scheduled for june 2024. But the starter kit is out on Drivethrurpg.
