It's happened to many of us.... you're stayed out for longer than intended, had a bit more fun than intended, and are significantly more oiled than intended! You're a good person so you don't drink and drive.... instead you leave your car in some strange place and you take a cab home. The most annoying thing the next day (apart from the hangover) is having to retrieve your car which you left by it's lonesome all night. Apart from the risk of leaving your car in a strange place (theft, parking fine, getting towed, wheel clamping, etc), it can be rather annoying and time consuming having to get your car the next day....
Well, how does an app that helps you and your car get home safely together the same night sound? It sounds too good to be true doesn't it!
Stear Clear is a new app available on iPhone and Android, aiming to be your designated driver at just a button touch away. It works by letting the user find and pay for willing designated drivers in the local area. All drivers have been vetted by Stear Clear. The service is currently only available in New Jersey, so if anyone out there has tried it out, let me know your thoughts on it.
