By gods… Already I’ve made history. I left the airship today to collect a sample of the black liquid from the pools, lo and behold a hand rises up from the liquid by my side. I practically leapt out my skin, but managed to stay calm enough to watch as a Beowolf emerged from beneath the surface. I was lucky it didn’t notice me, the creature seemed too eager to wander off rather than sniff around and try to find me. Honestly, I was too overwhelmed with excitement to be afraid. I’ve proven, without a doubt, this land is indeed where Grimm originate from!
I’ve brought back a sample of the liquid for my studies. Unlike the Creatures of Grimm, this substance retains itself, leading me to believe this could perhaps be a raw form of… whatever chemical Grimm are made out of. Maybe the molecular structure changes once they transform into beasts, and said transformation could lead to the substance dissolving when killed? It’s a farfetched theory, but I haven’t got anything better.
Doesn’t matter how wild the theory is at this point, I have photographic evidence of where Grimm come from! I’m going to be known regardless!
