and stefan laughs nervously and picks up annie to take her to you. you immediately smile when you see the two loves of your life. you hug stefan, giving him a kiss on the cheek and go to annie, giving her lots of kisses on her cheek and tickling her chin. and stefan nervously asks “uh... how was your day, honey?”

“stressful,” you sigh “but what day isnt? im just glad i get to come home to you two!”

and stefan’s like “hmm me too”

and you say the words stefan was dreading to hear

“so, did you have annie walk today?”

and stefan’s like 😳 “u-uhhh”

and annie nodsa and claps. and youre like “oh great! can i see?”

and stefan is shaking his head furiously, but annie is nodding her head yes and youre like

“cmon stefan. ive been waiting for this all day! and annie obviously wants to do it!”

stefan looks between you and annie like 😬😬😬 and is finally like “alright...” and sets annie down a little ways away from you gingerly, going back to stand beside you. he has his arms nervously crossed around his chest and youre looking at annie with an excited smile

“cmon annie! come to mama!” you exclaim

and stefan is bracing for the downfall, but surprisingly, annie starts to walk. you, and stefan, both gasp in surprise. you take your phone out fast and videotape annie walking the rest of the way to you, then handing the phone to stefan, crouching down and clapping as annie walked all the way to you

“oh my gosh, whoa! good job, sweets! man, you’re growing up so fast, oh my god,” you laugh. a few tears spring in your eyes as annie is smiling up at you. you take her into your arms, hugging her and giving her raspberries on her cheek

annie is giggling loudly, making stefan and you laugh and smile out of joy

annie then looks to stefan, giving him what looks like a ‘you’re welcome’ and ‘i wouldnt have let you down’ look. and he gives her a nod and smile, moving in close to you two. he puts his arm around your waist, pulling you in and kissing yours and annie’s head

and there you have it. a perfect salvatore family moment.
