all these mundane photos of the thor cast filming gives me life. a movie that is larger than life with earth-shattering implications in the mcu and the allfather is dressed as a hobo.

talk to me about mcu redwing. 

how redwing was created primarily by rhodey and sam.

how rhodey and sam argued for days about the paint scheme. rhodey wanted something military and practical like camo or gray. sam kept shutting him down and telling him he wants it as red as the iron man suit. 

what actually brought redwing about that made sam consider needing a little drone buddy in the sky with him.

how sam jokes that redwing is a better partner than rhodes ever was in the sky.

how during its debut steve tells sam on comms he’s got a hostile on his six and the pair of them chuckle. sam tells steve matter-o-factly “nah, man, that’s redwing. he’s got my six.”

how redwing’s name possibly comes from riley’s old call sign. so he has his best friend and partner flying with, and watching over him always.

sam using redwing to drop rhodey little gifts from the gang at the avengers compound after his injury. rhodey would have never known how they got there, if it wasn’t for that fucking flashy red paint job sam wanted so badly, glinting in the sunlight. 

rhodey telling tony, the next time he has a chat with rogers, to tell wilson next time, redwing is getting shot right out of the sky and returned to him in pieces. natasha promises to help him pick out a lovely gift box.

next time, redwing gives rhodey quite the show outside one of the main windows. it gets so close it’s almost touching the glass, and flies as slow as molases. its taunting him. and god, he just wants to blow it up.

Wore my costume and shield to my Civil War screenings tonight. A girl in a Cap dress told me I looked awesome and told me I needed to go to RICC. I think that makes this costume a success. #cosplay #goldenagecaptainamerica #captainamerica #CaptainAmericaCivilWar #teamcap
