A cluster of ancient stars casting solar winds look like daughter cells in an alga. The worlds of microscopes and telescopes can unite in one’s perception.

Based loosely on NGC 2392 and volvox algae.

This is the Bubble nebula (NGC7635) located in the constellation Cassiopeia. The 'bubble' obvious in this image is a nebula being shaped by a young star over forty times more massive than our own sun. The star is so incredibly hot that it sheds a lot of energy and material as a massive stellar wind, which is then striking a surrounding molecular cloud and shaping it into a bubble.
