Check out the #Stelliesfeesmustfall and #Stelliesshutdown tags on twitter. Kubi. No one will talk to the students who’ve been protesting peacefully. Last night during #uctshutdown police in riot gear were sent in, they used stunt grenades and students were arrested. Later rooms were raided.

Interesting to see how these historically white institutions have reacted to the majority black students protesting for their right to access education AND CALLING FOR AN END TO OUTSOURCED LABOUR. 

I’m tired of violence being the first thing that happens when black people protest and fight for their humanity in this country.
