She had kissed him!  Not a very firm or a harsh one.  Nothing that would scream there was anything more than affection between them, but still, the fact that Vanessa had taken the time to place her lips upon his cheek?  It was something that made the man who lived most of his life on the moon smile and blush and everything in between.

“Wh-what was that for silly?” He glanced at her, his cheeks ablaze and his smile stretched from ear to ear. “What if someone saw us?  I would hate to sully your reputation!  People could and often do misunderstand things like this no matter how innocent they are.  Oh goodness, Vanessa... if someone -- “ Mim cut himself, taking a deep breath.  He had to remember that this was not the time period he had been born in.  Men and women often spent time in mixed company in the current day and age.  He really had nothing to worry about and neither did she and if someone DID say anything, he would simply explain that they were friends.

Clearing his throat, he shook the fear off of his shoulders and returned the kiss.  His lips found the warmth of her cheek and he smiled afterwards, hugging the female close.  “Thank you for bring my friend. I really ..to know that I have you means a lot.”

you’re so cute. my flight was long and exhausting but i’m feeling alright. still kinda sick, still can’t hear out of my left ear that well (this is what i get for flying with a cold, i guess), but i’m sure i’ll be back to normal soon! i still haven’t slept and now it’s 6am and i just made pasta so i’ll try to nap after this if i can. i love you too, i hope you’re doing well ♡ smoooches
