Me again
I can feel it in my legs that my workout today was good.
I did step-ups and “dance/walk” breaks and stopped when it got to dead bugs 😂 maybe laterrr I don’t feel like getting on the ground
WOD #4 - 2/12/17
Today was crazy! There was basically two workouts in one class time. First we did:
4 rounds - 3 minutes each
15 step ups @ 20”
15 push ups (green + purple band assisted)
And as many 20lb dB snatches as I could before times up
I only ended up doing a total of 43 DB snatches.
The second WOD was an 16 minute EMOM where we rotated through the following:
15 Russian KB swings (12kg)
10 calories on the bike
25 sit ups
15 slam balls (20lb)
I thought this second half would be easier, but it was brutal. Everyone seemed crushed by today though, so at least I had solidarity in my misery.

6/7/17 - WOD
Doing the past two WODs has really sucked for me. After about 200m of running I'll feel fatigued. My theories as to why are: 1. It's now 80+ degrees out and I'm not getting enough water / electrolytes to compensate. 2. Also possible the heat is giving me trouble breathing. 3. For 5 weeks I was eating a Pre-WOD snack and this week I haven't. 4. The 5lbs of weight I regained is literally weighing me down. I can't really control the weather, but I can try to chug more water. I'm also going to try adding back in my pre-WOD snack next week. Anywho today's WOD seemed good enough on paper and other than feeling sluggish during the WOD I enjoyed it enough. 4 rounds for time: - 400m Running - 10 step ups @ 20". I should've done sets of 20, but between this and the running something had to give. - 20 dumbbell snatches at 20lb (these are one of my favorite movements!) I finished in 24:23, even cutting my step ups in half. It wasn't a very impressive performance, but at least I went out and did it!
6/5/2017 - WOD
Today was a hero WOD, which are known for being the hardest. I didn't want to go to Crossfit this morning let alone do a hard WOD. But I knew I needed to go back on schedule, so I dragged myself to the gym and through the workout. We did "Bowen" which, scaled for me, consisted of 3 rounds for time: - 800m running - 7 deadlifts @ 65lb - 10 burpee pull-ups - 14 one armed kettle bell thrusters - 20 step ups @ 20" I finished in 37:56. I was slow and lazy and so done with everything but at least I finished. That's good enough for today.
