Yep, as much as Ida can! Though Rose finds it a bit strange, since Ida is only about 8 years older than her.

This is two-fold ask, because first I was supposed to hype about Josele!🥰🥰 I read many of the fics you had written for her and I just love the way you tell stories!! I cried when I read about the whole falling out between Josele and Nacht, Josele's decision with her emotions, and their loss of Morgen. It just felt so heartwrenchingly real and raw and beautiful 😭 I just want to hold Josele while simultaneously be her friend.

Secondly, I have for the ask game 😁: 💔, 👤, please?

Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun! You're so sweet as always! Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoy Josele and her whole mess of a journey! The dynamics between Josele and the Fausts are just so much. I genuinely enjoyed writing those complex feelings. I even teared up a little when writing the more intense scenes.

Really, the pieces involving Josele might be some of my best works. I don't know why but writing her possesses me with actual competent writing skills and then we end up with the fics that now exist.

I'm touched by your words. And Josele definitely needs to be held by a friend. She needs all that she can get.

Also, I saw all those likes you gave to my fics when I woke up this morning. I just melted and did a happy little dance. It was very kind. You didn't need to go that far but you did and I'm soft~!

💔: Share your most heartbreaking line.

Looks like I'm gonna be spoiling some whump for this one. This is just a really good chunk that I cooked up in one of my possessed writing frenzies. Enjoy. Or cry, either works.

Those memories. The feelings intertwined with them. Everything that Morgen and Nacht brought to her life. They were so precious to Josele.

But now…

The thought of Morgen made her cry until she couldn’t breathe. Nacht had disappeared, taking with him another part of her heart.

Please. Josele begged the heavens, tears streaming down her face. Just disappear already.

👤: Share a line that shows a character's personality.

Okay so you won't have any context for either character in the snippet because they're for Demon Slayer. Note, Shinobu Kochou is canon to KnY while Suzume is @cringeyvanillamilk's oc.

I think this scene does a good job of showing Shinobu's intelligence and faked lightheartedness. It also shows Suzume's as being awkward but also a curious individual.

“The brain is what allows the body to function. That’s why head injuries are dangerous.”

“Is that why cutting off a demon’s head is the main way to kill them, Kochou-sama?” Suzume asked.

“Most likely!” replied Kochou.

Eerily chipper about such a grim topic but that’s her usual demeanor! Suzume pursed her lips and then a thought struck her. “But what if it wasn’t the head? What would it be then?”

Kochou touched a hand to her chin and mused, “Well… For humans, when the heart stops, they die. That’s the short and simple truth.” She abruptly clapped her hands together then laughed, though it sounded forced to Suzume’s ears. “But we already know that demons can take damage to the heart so these kinds of contemplations aren’t of use!”

Hopefully you like what I share, even if one of them is for a fandom you're not in (as far as I'm aware). They were just some of the best examples I could think of right off the top of my head.

Hmm... let's go with 🤨 and 🎲 for the WIP ask game. I always do appreciate the chaotic and nonsensical.

You want chaos and nonsense? I'll (hopefully) give you a chaos and nonsense, Lynx!

I'm not sure how chaotic or nonsensical my writing actually ends up because I'm rather verbose and tend to explain. I sometimes worry if I over explain things at times.

But not now! Now, we're pulling out the vague and the weird!

🤨: Share a line that makes no sense out of context.

Oh boy! I tried to pick the weirdest one I could. You'll still probably be able to guess the context based on the dialogue but if you were to show this someone not familiar with the series, they might be lost. Please enjoy.

“What sword kind have you?!” The head hissed on its own. “Why do I feeling burn?!” The body lifted the head to the neck stump and pressed it down. “GRRR! Why head will no again attach?!” Red eyes narrowed on Suzume. “WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO?!”

And yes, the awful grammar is entirely intentional. Make of that what you will.

🎲: Using a method of your choosing, share a randomly-selected line.

Okay, I will first explain the process by which the line was chosen.

I asked a group of friends to give me four things

A: a number between 1-16, since I have 16 WIPs to choose from

B: a number between 1-25, since the longest document is 25 pages and I would to the last page if the WIP from the first number is shorter.

C: a number between 1-46, since that's how many lines can fit on the page in the word processor I use

D: up or down, since I format documents in single space with a gap between paragraphs and so I could know whether to choose the line above or below the gap.

I ended up with seven responses so using a number randomizer, I made up an eighth option. Then, I shuffled the WIPs with a list randomizer. Finally, I rolled a d8.

I ended up with this line. No, you don't get any context.

Shizuka: Even after all this time, I’m impressed that Master Yanagidate is able to fight drunk.

Kagaya: Unfortunate. Anyone else?

Shinobu: My successor is my adoptive younger sister.

Takayuki: And I’ve fallen in love with my successor...

Kagaya: Usually we keep our personal lives and our professional lives separate but you both have crossed them in opposite directions it seems.
