Stephanie Fenner is an visual artist born in Michigan, currently living and working in Philadelphia. Her work ranges from oil painting to sculpture to video to installation, where each medium influences the other. Her work explores ideas of cinema, performer, audience, and prop as a means to manipulate or distract from the narratives she pulls from her own lived experiences. She earned her BFA from Eastern Michigan University in 2014 with a concentration in drawing and printmaking. Stephanie is currently an MFA candidate at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and will graduate May 2018. Her work has been exhibited nationally in several group and juried exhibitions and will be in the Annual Student Exhibition at PAFA this spring. After graduation, she plans on living in Philadelphia.
