Man, what an awesome thing to come home to. Some very dear friends of mine, one of whom I've known since elementary school, sent me this beautiful #gift. It's a series of what are essentially #lovenotes in the form of small cards. Pictured is my favorite one of the bunch. I know the best people. I really needed this to quell my nerves for this weekend's #PAXWest2018 panels. This is ESPO’s Art World, artist Stephen Powers’ sign shop. But as you can imagine, this space is much more than that."

Triple Shot: Music, Art, & Coffee Rather elated, actually the meter sprung to ecstatic when my fave coffee spot @LaColumbecoffee came to midtown. My weekly ritual to restore my melanin content with my coveted Black & Tan when I actually stopped to pay attention to the artwork sprawled across the walls. I knew I recognized the work and double checked with the barista. It was #StephenPowers. His work was on exhibition @BrooklynMuseum a while back. Gershwin takes the F (I went to George Gershwin J.H.S) & Duke Ellington takes the A (I freelance at Jazz at Lincoln Center). Music keeps me on track is an under statement.
