I took KJ to the cemetery the other day because he randomly started asking me about my Grandpa and Grandma. He knows my Grandpa who is 100 years old and still alive, but didn't know about my grandma who passed away many years ago. I told him of many stories growing up with her and the little games she used to play with her many grandchildren. I told him about her life, her legacy, her faith, and the impact she has made on our family. I told him that I wrote my song, "Well Done" about her and that KJ is now apart of a big Manongdo family. It was really nice and interesting to hear all the questions that he had about life and even death. The things that a 9-year old thinks about and the realization that I have a responsibility to sow good seeds in his life and teach him about the importance of family.
