this town is interesting, to say the least. it’s no new york city, nor a boise, nor a portland--but it sure is a beast. you can’t go one day without seeing some new, interesting little detail that you’ve never noticed before. that’s the sort of thing that jimmy can’t get enough of. on his long drives through town, he sets himself only one goal: find a new place to park and take a walk around. sometimes, it gets him in trouble. most of the time, it makes new friends.
today is not one of those random happenstance meetings. he’s been coming to eden exactly twice a week, every week, since he heard the name faust floating around the place. it’s not the classiest place by any means, but it’ll do for its purpose: information. more than an adviser, jimmy is a collector of the most valuable forms of intel. as of today, he knows a few key things: there are at least three large crime families in the city, the o’sheas, the vasiles, and the fausts. the bar that jimmy sits at now seems to be owned by a young man named dante, who drives a very nice car.
speaking of, jimmy’s just spotted him. the best way to get someone to approach you is to just simply act natural. and so he does, catching the guy’s eye here and there while he sips on a manhattan.
