Steve and Bucky were there for the rising of surrealism after WW1 and the surrealist manifesto changed their lives completely #artists
Pre-serum steve could never hurt a woman, you CANT convince me otherwise. He wouldn't even correct his partner just smile and nod because he so in love.
I don't know if I'm gonna get hate for his but I'm always so confused when people are anti endgame and say that Peggy regresses to only being Steve's love interest. I'm not taking anything away from how great Hayley is or how Peggy is written or anything, but doesn't she spend 99% of the MCU being his love interest? She's his pillar of strength in the The First Avenger reassuring him to believe in himself and undressing him with her eyes; she spends TWS reminding Steve of who he is and what he has to do; she spends Age of Ultron as a vision of his to come home and be with her; well Civil War *cough*; and she's a symbol and vested interest for Steve throughout Endgame as the life he wants to go back to and be with. He's also tethered to her in the same ways - from the moment he wakes up, his old life is missing (which is essentially her) and it stays with him until Endgame. We could argue outside of Agent Carter he was her main love interest and she was his. They are two parts of a whole. And, that's okay. That doesn't take away what great characters both of them were, especially her.
I don't know why we get so down on female characters being a love interest when that does make up a big part of who they are.....
