Born in Los Angeles, Steven Lopez studied fine art at the University of Oregon in Eugene, learning form at the hands of a sculptor and "refining his conceptual vocabulary" under the watchful eye of a design theorist. While living back in Los Angeles navigating between tattoo, art, illustration, and mural work, Lopez is still a regular contributor to the Eugene art scene and was an early participant in the @20x21EUG Mural Project.
