STEWDLER
A whole lot of the Bugsnax on Frosted Peak are chilly, but only one of them is chili, and that is Stewdler! Stewdler is the only spicy Snak in Frosted Peak, and the only source of fire aside from a few campfires. This means it can be a valuable resource! If you want to catch it, it’s no big deal. Just lure a Chillynilly into it to neutralize them both!
Like Noodler, Stewdler is based on a spider crab, and is cheeky and mischievous. Its design, however, is even more abstract! Whereas Noodler’s chopsticks form the jointed limbs that arthropods are named after, Stewdler has some floaty spoons instead, and it is so interesting. Certainly one of the more “alien” feeling Bugsnax as a result! Almost like a blob creature piloting a strange mech!
It is known that a Bugsnak being harmed too much will reduce it to mush, which is presumably why they are all eaten in one bits, but I must wonder, does this apply to Stewdler’s spoons? Can they be removed or is there invisible attachment going on here? I would like to know if you can eat a single soft chili-flavored spoon.
Hey, I am realizing that Stewdler’s stripes are inverted when comparing its sticker and its model! Fascinating. I have a bowl that looks just like the one in the sticker without a stripe, and the last time I ate chili I used that bowl, on purpose of course. I did not use six spoons though.
The names “Noodler” and “Stewdler” keep making me think about a hypothetical “Strudler”, based on strudel, and I hope it happens, and looks nothing like either of them. Just for some fun and mischief.
MY FAV TIME OF THE WEEK AGAIN....... STEWDLER SATURDAY
